Introducing Angela...

We caught up with our new recipe queen to get the lowdown on how she does it!

QuestionHas having children changed the way you cook?
Yes, massively. I used to love spicy food and added chilli to almost everything! But now I have to lay off the spices until my two kids are old enough to handle the heat.

QuestionWhat's your favourite guilty pleasure?
I really love cheese and crackers – my favourite kind is Tallegio. My children love it too, so there's no risk of me scoffing an entire wedge – although sometimes it’s temping to hide it at the back of the fridge!

QuestionWhat's your favourite stand-by dish?
The kids love my homemade meatballs – they’ve even started requesting it! I add spinach, parsley, Parmesan and garlic to give them lots of flavour.

QuestionWhat dish do your children love?
It's got to be my mango rice pudding. The creamy texture makes it the perfect pudding for babies and kids of all ages, as well as being an indulgent treat for adults.

QuestionHow do you feed your family for under a fiver?
Macaroni cheese is a cheap option. Usually I have most of the ingredients – I just throw in some frozen peas and tomatoes to add a bit of colour. It's perfect for freezing and soft enough for my baby.
